Research and capacity building for inter-sectoral private sector engagement for soil rehabilitation

Duration : February 1, 2016 - January 31, 2019
(Extended to April 30, 2019)

To catalyze increased business thinking and private sector engagement in resource recovery and reuse (RRR) the project will develop curricula for innovative technologies and investment models that transfer organic municipal, fecal and agroindustrial waste into organic fertilizer for different soils, crops and climates in South Asia. The project will be supported by field trials in South Asia and West Africa to capture a diversity of crops, soils and rainfall regimes.
